All Her Relatives

White Buffalo Calf Woman stood on the edge of the great divide, under the stars of the entire universe with all her relatives around her forming a sacred circle.

The faces of Father, Mother, Gray Dawn, the Shaman and the old Kokopelli were carved into the cliff, enduring through untold millennia in all the Five Worlds. She passed the pipe around the circle, and the curative smoke rose gently into the air as each smoked and spoke in turn.

Meredith and the elders of the Five Worlds smoked in silence.
